Pošta Slovenije: social media brand auditing
Social media has provided many public companies with new ways of promoting it. Fan pages and social media profiles, in addition to boosting sales, can be effective in raising companies’ reputation, promoting positive words about products and services, enhancing corporate branding and enhancing customer loyalty.
These activities result in a better image of the company in the eyes of the customer. Because social media is a less expensive tool for managing internal and external corporate marketing and communications activities, it also reduces costs.
Although it is difficult to measure direct return on investment from social media, the benefits to brand reputation are always visible.
During September 2019, an extensive survey of the reputation of Pošta Slovenije was made.
Pošta Slovenije has already established a presence on some of the major social media sites. Yet, to fully harness the power of social media and reap the potential benefits, Pošta might be less concerned with sweepstakes (and vanity engagement) and more with essential customer communication.
